How to Get a Phone Psychic Reading: The BEST Way to Find a Real Psychic From Home

I want to share with you my FAVORITE way of finding accurate psychics, without breaking my budget, or bank account to boot.

But believe it or not, after 20 years of writing and researching psychics both personally and professionally, you would THINK that I’d have a more complicated approach to getting psychic advice.

I prefer the phone. And I prefer speaking to either brand new readers, or psychics, mediums, clairvoyants and intuitives that I’ve grown to know, like and trust over the years.

As a publisher of 5 popular blogs and newsletters on psychic and paranormal phenomena, I get a lot of questions about picking the “perfect” psychic.

The truth is, there really is NOT a perfect psychic. Every person is different, and each of us has an energy that is unique. Much like a fingerprint… the imprint that YOUR spiritual journey has on this world is very different than mine, and because of that, a reader who I may LOVE… you may only think is so so.

Here is the simple series of steps I recommend my readers and subscribers follow when choosing a reading:

- Stick to a budget. But SET a budget, even it’s a small one. Don’t seek out free readings… as they’re rarely really free, and even less frequently any good! If you’ve got 10 dollars allocated for an inexpensive reading, believe it or not, that’s a MUCH better investment than wasting 20 minutes on the phone with a “free psychic service” who spends 18 of those minutes trying to convince you to buy something you don’t want.

- Do a little bit of research, but don’t over do it. Find 2 or 3 networks, or individual intuitives you like, see what others have to say about them, and then just dive in and do it! (Far too many people spend far too much time doing “research” and far too little time actually ENJOYING the experience of having the readings done).

- Write down your optimal outcomes in advance

What do you really want to know about your future? Love, money, career, passion, purpose… or maybe just spiritual truths you can apply today? Think about these in advance of the reading and actually write them down. I recommend that everyone write down 5 critical questions they want answers to… and to make sure that they get 3 of the 5 answered during the reading (you’ll be amazed at how much more CLARITY will come if you actually know what you want to know!).

Lastly… enjoy yourself, get comfortable and don’t stress! There is an amazing truth about calling a psychic or having any sort of exceptional experience called the “experimenter affect”, which basically means, your ATTITUDE can influence what happens during the experience (really any experience, but this has been studied specially with people who believe, or don’t believe in these sorts of phenomena). The cliff notes version (and verdict) is that YOU have far more power, and influence than you realize. So being open, easy going and excited about your reading will actually HELP make it great (rather than suspicious, on guard and waiting for your reader to get something wrong).

Enjoy your reading (and you’ll be amazed at what comes through)!

How to Contact the Spirit World – (And the Controversial Truth About Talking to the Dead)

Who else has thought of calling a psychic medium, joining a spiritualist circle or even participating in a seance or sitting? Does the idea of re-uniting with deceased loved ones through the phone, or in person, with someone with special psychic gifts sound amazingly empowering?

For most of us… losing someone we love deeply is our greatest fear. And for many of us, when that happens, we search the known world for answers that shed light on what happens when we die.

As someone with 2 decades of research into psychic experiences of all kinds, I am 100% certain that when we die, we go SOMEWHERE. Where that place is, I’m still not sure, but we DO live on in some form, and can continue to communicate with those that are left behind.

The best way to communicate with those who have crossed over?

You can train yourself to become more sensitive, and aware of the spiritual dimensions through expanding your awareness of what’s possible (believe it or not, intention can lead to intuition).

You can also have SPONTANEOUS “visitations” from loved ones who have crossed over. This happens most often in dreams, or through visualization or even using some cool “new age” techniques like mirror gazing, deep meditation and even prayer (there is even a type of rapid eye movement therapy called EMDR which is thought to facilitate visitation from spirits).

The best way to communicate with spirits, or loved ones that have crossed over remains using a spiritual medium as an intermediary. Working by phone, or in person, a good medium can bridge the gap between THIS world and the next, and in a way that offers you concrete evidence, proof and HOPE that your loved ones live on.

If you go this route… look for psychic mediums who:

- Are equally as adept by phone as they are in person (mediums who only work in person make me suspicious, as there is far more opportunity to cheat, and do cold reading).

- Avoid psychics who ask a lot of questions, or try to “fish” for answers. Stick with mediums who have a proven track record of success, AND who do this “work” professionally (as an amateur medium may mean well, but can give you BAD information that does more harm, than help).

- And lastly… a genuine experience with a real medium should make you FEEL good thereafter. You should feel like you’ve had an authentic experience that was meaningful, inspiring and OPTIMISTIC. (After all, when you learn that we really DO “live” on forever… it’s hard to stay down for long, EVEN if you’ve lost someone you love)!
