Admissions
Portland Cooperative School seeks intellectually curious students who will thrive in our unique cooperative environment. Parents must be able to fulfill our participation requirement and wish to be part of a cooperative school community that models gentleness, and healthy communication and conflict resolution. For the 2008-09 school year, enrollment is open to Kindergarten through third grade.
Families are invited to attend an open house (please see Events Page or call the school for dates and times) to learn more and schedule a classroom visit and observation. An application is available at our open houses and/or for download. We encourage submission of applications by March 1. Letters of admission for applications received by March 1st will be sent by March 31st. A nonrefundable tuition deposit of $1,500 is due by April 15. For applications received after March 1st, admissions will be rolling, as space is available.
